Quick parameter setting for SCKR1-7000 series soft starters.

The quick setup menu of the SCKR1-7000 series enables you to quickly configure soft starters for common applications. The soft starter selects parameters related to the application. Typical Settings are recommended. You can adjust each parameter according to your actual needs.


For the load of the centrifugal pump, it is recommended to adopt an adaptive control start-up mode, match the early acceleration curve, and set a 10-second start-up ramp time. During the stop phase, an adaptive control deceleration curve is selected, and a 15-second stop time is configured. This parameter combination can effectively suppress the starting current impact and avoid the water hammer effect in the pipeline through a smooth start-stop transition, meeting the protection requirements of the centrifugal pump pipeline system.


Due to the special installation environment of submersible pumps, it is necessary to give priority to ensuring the rapid and stable start-up. It is recommended to adopt the combination of adaptive control and early acceleration curve, compressing the start-up ramp time to 5 seconds and setting the stop time to 5 seconds simultaneously. This can significantly reduce the continuous wear on the mechanical structure of the pump body during the low-speed operation stage and extend the service life of the equipment.


For fan loads, it is necessary to distinguish the damping characteristics and configure the parameters: Fan loads with damping have relatively large inertia, and it is advisable to use a constant current starting method, with the current limit set at 350%. Through precise current limiting control, excessive impact during the starting stage can be avoided. Damper-free fans are more suitable for adaptive control mode, equipped with a 30-second start-up limit time. They can dynamically adjust the acceleration process based on real-time load characteristics, optimizing energy consumption and mechanical stress.


The starting load peak of reciprocating compressors is relatively high. Therefore, a constant current starting mode should be adopted, with a 400% current limit and a 5-second starting ramp time set to ensure sufficient starting torque output.


Rotary crushers require strong starting torque characteristics. It is recommended to configure a 400% current limit, a 30-second starting limit time, and a 20-second rotor locking time to cope with high-impact load conditions.


The load of the conveyor belt should focus on ensuring the smoothness of its start and stop to prevent the material from sliding off. It is recommended to start with a constant current (with a current limit of 400%). During the stop stage, an adaptive control constant deceleration curve should be selected, and a 10-second stop time should be set to achieve a linear transition of speed.


Both jaw and rotary crushers are high-impact loads and need to be equipped with a 450% high current limit to meet the starting torque requirements. The starting limit times are respectively set at 40 seconds (for jaw type) and 30 seconds (for rotary type) to ensure that the starting process can still be completed smoothly under heavy load conditions and avoid production interruption caused by frequent tripping.
